Following the recent disposal programme and relocation, with effect from
today, of the Head Office of Silvermines Group plc from Leicester
to Finchampstead, Mr Piero Fileccia has decided to pursue his career outside
Silvermines Group and the Board has accepted his resignation with effect
from today, 1 December 1999.
The Board are pleased to announce the appointment of Mr James Trumper, aged
38, as Finance Director. Mr Trumper is currently Group Finance
Director of the Mitsubishi Electric PC Division and will take up his new
position on 24 January 2000. Previously Mr Trumper had been Group Finance
Director of Bluebird Toys plc and K'NEX International, a joint venture with
Hasbro Inc.
Mr Trumper qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Arthur Andersen after
obtaining a first class honours degree in Engineering Science from Exeter
University.
Mr Trumper is currently a director of Apricot Computers Limited and until 15
May 1998 was a director of K'NEX International UK and K'NEX Manufacturing,
both unlimited liability companies.
