Vislink Acquisition Approved at EGM
Vislink plc ('Vislink') is pleased to confirm that at the Extraordinary
General Meeting held today shareholders voted to approve the acquisition
of Advent Communications Limited ('Advent').
Admission of the 504,000 new Ordinary shares to be issued on completion
as part of the consideration for Advent is expected to take place on
18 April 2000.
Ian Scott-Gall, Chief Executive of Vislink commented on the decision,
'Following the completion of our disposal programme, the acquisition of
Advent is the next step in our strategy to focus Vislink on its core
business areas. This acquisition provides the opportunity to develop
and grow a much broader-based international satellite, broadcast and
telecommunications business.'
