Retirement of Director
Vislink plc, ('the Group'), the leading supplier of microwave radio and satellite transmission products for the broadcast and security markets and CCTV systems for the marine security market, announces that the US Chief Operating Officer Tony Finizio (aged 65) will be retiring from the Board and the Company on 31 December 2008. From 1 January 2008 the US businesses will report directly to Duncan Lewis, the Chief Executive.
Tim Trotter, Chairman, said:
'On behalf of the Board and our employees, I would like to thank Tony for his substantial contribution to the Group. He joined us in 2000 with the acquisition of MRC and was instrumental in building MRC into the business that it is today. Tony managed his transition to retirement through the appointment of Morgan Kurk as president of MRC earlier this year. We wish Tony a happy retirement.'
