been made to the year end date which is 10th February, not 28th February. The

                            Special Dividend Payment


Peel Hotels Plc (the 'Company') is pleased to announce a special dividend
payment of 15 pence per share payable to all shareholders on 28th April 2008.
The ex dividend date is 16 April 2008 and the record date is 18th April 2008.


The Company is also pleased to announce that it will be reporting its
preliminary results for the year ending 10th February 2008 on 16th April 2008.
