ISSUE OF EQUITY

Personal Assets Trust plc (the "Company") announces that it has allotted and issued, conditional only on admission to listing on the UKLA's Official List and to trading on the London Stock Exchange, a further 1,121 Ordinary shares of £12.50 each at a price of £313 per share.  It is expected that the new shares will be admitted to listing and to trading at 8.00 a.m. on 10 January 2011. Following this issue, the Company will have 910,394 Ordinary shares in issue.
