ISSUE OF EQUITY

On 8 July 2016 Personal Assets Trust plc (the "Company") issued 3,086 of its Ordinary shares of £12.50 held in Treasury and issued 1,020 Ordinary shares from its block listing facility both at a price of £398.80 per share.

The Company's issued share capital consists of 1,750,463 Ordinary shares, of which no Ordinary shares are held in Treasury. Therefore, the total number of shares with voting rights in the Company is 1,750,463.

The above figure (1,750,463) may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, Personal Assets Trust plc under the FCA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
