Dividend Payment Information
Petra Diamonds Limited announces information regarding its FY 2015 dividend payment of US$ 3.0 cents per share, as well as results of the Dividend Reinvestment Plan ("DRIP") and the Sterling dividend currency election, whereby the dividend is paid in Sterling rather than US Dollars ("Currency Election").
The DRIP was taken up by shareholders holding 2,301,034 shares (0.44% of shares in issue). The Currency Election was made by shareholders holding 180,999,414 shares (34.62% of shares in issue).
For shareholders choosing the DRIP or Currency Election, the Sterling dividend was converted from US Dollars on 19 November 2015 at an exchange rate of US$1.5256:GBP1 and will be 1.96644 pence per share.
The dividend payment date is 7 December 2015, subject to approval of the dividend by shareholders at the Company's Annual General Meeting on 30 November 2015, and is payable to shareholders on the register as at 16 October 2015.
