Notification of Transactions of Directors/Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibility and Connected Persons

The Company announces that on 4 January 2010, Dr Mike Watts, a Non-Executive Director of the Company, bought 495 SOCO International plc ordinary shares of £0.20 each ("Shares") at a purchase price of £13.49 per Share.

The shares were purchased on the open market pursuant to a trading plan entered into on 29 September 2009.

Following this transaction, which represents 0.0007% of the issued share capital of the

Company, Dr Watts holds 6,515 Shares, representing 0.01% of the issued share capital of the Company.
