PHSC  plc  ("the Company"), the provider of health, safety and environmental services to corporate
and  public sector clients, announces that on 18 August 2006 the PHSC Retirement and Death Benefit
Scheme, an approved pension fund for the benefit of the executive directors, purchased a total  of
7,400 ordinary shares of PHSC plc on the market at a price of 57pence per ordinary share.
