The Board of ING UK Real Estate Income Trust Limited (the "Company") announces the completion of its purchase of 5,902,317 Zero Dividend Preference Shares ("ZDP Shares") in IRET Securities Limited at a cost of 67.77p per ZDP Share; a total investment of approximately £4 million.  The number of ZDP Shares purchased is marginally below the number of shares previously announced on 21 December 2010 as a result of final pricing adjustments.

 

In addition, as a result of the final pricing adjustment, the total number of ZDP Shares placed by Laxey and its associates was 26,201,532, marginally below that previously announced, representing approximately 56.3 per cent. of the ZDP Shares in issue.
