The directors of Pendragon announce that it has agreed to appoint John Holt to
the Board as a non-executive director with effect from 1st November 1999.
Mr Holt (60) was, until his retirement in 1998, Head of Computer Assurance for
the Northern Region of PriceWaterhouseCoopers, and also headed that firm's
International Software Development Team. Mr Holt has been invited to chair the
Audit Committtee of the Board with effect from 1st January 2000. This will
coincide with the retirement as a director of Thomas Neville on 31st December
1999. Mr Neville has served as a non-executive director and chairman of the
Audit Committee since Pendragon's floatation in October 1989.
The Board wishes to express its thanks to Mr Neville for his years of service.
