PENDRAGON PLC ('Pendragon')
Surplus Property Disposal
Pendragon today announces that it has sold its former car dealership at London
Road, High Wycombe. The sale of this site which has generated proceeds of
£8.0 million will give a profit on disposal to Pendragon of £3.3 million after
costs.
Trevor Finn, Chief Executive of Pendragon, commented:
'The surplus property disposal demonstrates our continuing policy of enhancing
shareholder value by realising profits from the sale of such properties and to
utilise net profits from their disposal to repurchase and cancel the company's
ordinary shares. Our existing property portfolio undergoes regular appraisal
with the aim of identifying sites which, where appropriate, could realise
profits if put to alternative uses'.
