Pittards plc announces that application has been made to the UK Listing
Authority and the London Stock Exchange plc for the listing of 19,779 new
ordinary 25 pence shares to be admitted to the Official List pursuant to the
exercise of options.  This increases the number of ordinary shares in issue to
22,064,416.  Dealings in these shares are expected to commence on 17 December
2002.
