Appointment of director and trading update

Pittards, the specialist producer of technically advanced leather and luxury leather goods for sale to retailers, manufacturers and distributors, is pleased to announce the appointment of Godfrey Davis as a non-executive director of the Company. Godfrey is non-executive Chairman of Mulberry Group Plc, having previously been Chief Executive for 10 years, and brings a wealth of experience in the luxury leather goods sector which should prove highly beneficial to the Company's growth strategy in this area. 

Godfrey Davis, aged 64, is a director of the following companies:

Mulberry Group Plc Hestercombe Gardens Limited Woodard Schools (Taunton) Limited Princedale Developments Limited

There are no further details required to be given in accordance with paragraph (g) Schedule Two AIM Rules for Companies.

Trading update

The Company expects to announce its preliminary results for the financial year ended 31 December 2013 in the week commencing 17 March 2014.

Underlying trading was generally in line with market expectations for the year although our predominantly dollar based revenues were impacted by the weakening of the dollar relative to sterling in the last quarter.
