Pittards plc announces it has been informed that Mr Reg Hankey, a director of
the Company purchased 20,000 ordinary shares in the Company at a price of
23.5pence per share today, 9 May 2005. Mr Hankey is now interested in 81,719
ordinary shares in the Company representing approximately 0.37per cent of the
issued share capital.
