The Board of Pittards plc is pleased to announce that Jill Williams (age 48) has
been appointed to the Group Board with effect from 2 November 2005.
Mrs Williams joined the Group as Finance and Planning Manager in 1989. She was
appointed Company Secretary in 1991 and Human Resources Director in 2002.
Robert Martin Lindsey Blackford (age 41) has been appointed Group Financial
Director (Designate) with effect from 1 January 2006. He will join the Group
Board and assume full executive responsibilities on 1 May 2006.
Mr Blackford joined the Group as Group Financial Controller in 1995 and was
appointed Technical Services Director in 1999.
He will succeed John Buckley (age 58) who has indicated that it is his intention
to retire as Group Financial Director in April 2006 when he will have completed
20 years service in that role.
There is nothing further to disclose concerning Mrs Williams and Mr Blackford in
respect of Schedule 2 paragraph (g) of the AIM rules.
