New licensing agreement with Unibet

Playtech becomes online bingo supplier to Unibet.com in addition to MariaBingo.com and Bingo.com

Playtech, (AIM: PTEC) the international designer, developer and licensor of software for the online, mobile, TV and land-based gaming industry, today announces that it has established an exclusive multi-year bingo licensing agreement with Unibet, one of the leading European online gaming operators with more than 4.7 million customers in over 100 countries.

The deal follows an extensive selection process and will see Playtech provide Unibet with its online bingo solution through Virtue Fusion Alderney (Virtue Fusion), the world's leading developer and licensor of internet bingo products.

Playtech will provide Unibet with its industry leading, multi-currency, multi-language platform through its subsidiary, Virtue Fusion, which Unibet will use to grow its pan-European bingo business.

Under the terms of the agreement, MariaBingo.com and Bingo.com, both among the largest online bingo communities in the European market, will also switch to Playtech's Virtue Fusion network together with Unibet's other white label sites.  

Unibet has been a licensee of GTS, Playtech's games tab platform provider, since 2006 and the new agreement greatly strengthens the relationship and offers enhanced scope for integration and cross-selling between the two products.

Commenting on the agreement Playtech's Chief Executive, Mor Weizer, said: 'This is undoubtedly one of the most significant B2B bingo deals over the past few years.
