                            Pre-close Trading Update
                               Directorate Change

Playtech (AIM: PTEC), the international designer, developer and licensor of 
software to the online, mobile and land-based gaming industry, today announces 
that the Company continues to enjoy buoyant trading and has experienced 
significant growth in revenues towards the end of 2007, when monthly revenues 
reached a record level.

As a result the Company states that it is confident of meeting market 
expectations for its operating businesses for its 2007 preliminary results.

With trading in the fourth quarter of 2007 exceeding expectations, the Board is 
highly confident of the Company's trading performance for 2008.

The Company also announces today that Avigur Zmora, currently Executive Vice 
Chairman, is to move to become a Non-executive Director of the Company. 
In this role Avigur will adopt a senior consultancy role and will continue to 
work closely with management with a particular focus on strategic matters.

The Company has now entered its close period and its preliminary results will be 
announced on 4 March 2008.
