In conformity with the Disclosure and Transparency Rules, Polar Capital Global Financials Trust plc (the 'Company') notifies that:

As at close of business on 31 August 2017, the Company's issued share capital consists of 202,775,000 ordinary shares of 5 pence each, with voting rights ('Ordinary Shares').

The Company does not hold any Ordinary Shares in Treasury.

Therefore, the total number of voting rights is 202,775,000.

The above figure of 202,775,000 Ordinary Shares may be used by shareholders in the Company as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the share capital of the Company under the FCA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
