ALLOTMENT OF SHARES

The Company announces the allotment of 4,275,000 ordinary shares of 25p each fully paid under its block listing facility. These shares were issued for cash at a price of 110.55p per share. These shares rank pari passu with the existing issued ordinary shares of the Company.   The number of ordinary shares in issue is now 95,275,000.

The above figure (95,275,000) may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, Polar Capital Global Healthcare Growth and Income Trust plc under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
