Polar Capital Global Healthcare Growth and Income Trust plc notifies the market of the following:

As at 31 January 2014, Polar Capital Global Healthcare Growth and Income Trust plc's capital consisted of 120,056,136 ordinary shares of 25 pence each and 2,593,864 subscription shares of 1 pence each.

Each ordinary share carries one vote while the subscription shares have no voting rights. Therefore as at 31 January 2014, the total number of voting rights is 120,056,136.

No shares are held in Treasury.

The above figure (120,056,136) may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to, their interest in Polar Capital Global Healthcare Growth and Income Trust plc under the FCA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
