Transactions in a close period statement and compliance with the Model Code

In accordance with Listing Rule 15.5.1(4) Polar Capital Technology Trust Plc ("the Company") announces that it is satisfied that all inside information which the Directors and the Company may have in periods leading up to an announcement of results has previously been notified to a RIS and accordingly the Company need not comply with the provisions of the close period provisions of the Model Code in relation to the Company's shares during the period to the announcement of the results for the financial year ended 30 April 2014.

The close period commenced on 1 May 2014 and is expected to end with the publication of the annual results on 30 June 2014.
