POLAR CAPITAL GLOBAL TECHNOLOGY TRUST PLC ("the Company")

FURTHER RE FINAL EXERCISE OF SUBSCRIPTION SHARES

Further to the announcement on 1 April 2014, the Company has been informed by the Final Subscription Trustee that it will not be exercising any outstanding subscription rights.

The remaining unexercised subscription shares have been converted to deferred shares and immediately cancelled.

As no new Ordinary Shares have been issued, the Company's issued share capital remains unchanged and consists of 132,336,159 Ordinary Shares, with each share carrying the right to one vote.  The Company now has no Subscription Shares in issue.    This figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculation by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the FCA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
