Polar Capital Technology Trust PLC ("the Company")

Block listing application

The Company announces that it has made an application to the UK Listing Authority and the London Stock Exchange for the block listing of 25,358,288 new ordinary shares which may be issued under the Subscription Share Conversion Scheme.

Shares may be issued under this facility to satisfy the conversion rights of the Subscription Shares, in accordance with the prospectus issued on 18 January 2011.  The shares will, when issued, rank pari passu with the existing ordinary shares.
