Contract Win
Porvair plc ("Porvair"), the specialist filtration and environmental technology group,today announces a further strengthening of its Microfiltration division's order book with a commitment from Lindauer Dornier GmbH to purchase leaf disc filters in 2010 and 2011. This contract, with sales revenues in excess of £1m, was won in a competitive tender.
The leaf disc filters will be used in the manufacture of polyester packaging film. They are cleanable filters designed to operate at high flow rates with a long on-stream life.
Porvair's Microfiltration division has supplied innovative filtration equipment to the polymer melt industry for over 25 years. It has developed world leading expertise in the filtration of PET and PP fibres, PET bottle polymers, thin packaging film, engineering thermoplastics and X-ray film.
