Disposal of certain assets and liabilities of Porvair International Limited and
                            Porvair Ceramics Limited

Porvair is pleased to announce that the ordinary resolution proposed at the
extraordinary general meeting held earlier today was duly passed and that the
disposal of the business, assets and liabilities of Porvair International
Limited and Porvair Ceramics Limited (other than certain excluded assets and
liabilities) will be completed as soon as practicable.
