NOTIFICATION OF TRANSACTIONS OF DIRECTORS AND PERSONS DISCHARGING MANAGERIAL
RESPONSIBILITIES

We wish to notify the following, in accordance with Rules 3.1.4(1)(a) and 3.1.4
(1)(b) of the Disclosure Rules.

The Company has granted matching awards in the form of conditional awards of
shares in respect of the number of ordinary shares of 1p each in the Company as
set out in column (1) in the table below to the directors and PDMRs set out in
column (2) in that table under the Company's Co-Investment Plan ('CIP').  The
matching awards were all made on 16 May 2007 and represent a 3:1 match over
shares which those participants have invested under the terms of the CIP.  The
vesting of the matching awards is subject to performance conditions based upon a
combination of Earnings per Share growth and Total Shareholder Return as
measured over a three-year period and continued holding of the invested shares
over that period.

Following the granting of these conditional awards, the total number of ordinary
shares of 1p each in the Company over which the directors and PDMRs concerned
hold options/awards is set out in column (3) of the table below.
