                             Quarterly Dividend

Premier Utilities Trust PLC announces that the second quarterly dividend, of 
1.5p per Ordinary share, which is in line with the expected level set out in the 
Company's prospectus published on 29 September 2003, will be paid on 30 June 
2004 to members on the register at the close of business on 28 May 2004. The 
Ordinary shares will be marked ex-dividend on 26 May 2004.

The Board expects to be able to meet the remaining quarterly dividends for 2004 
as set out in the Company's prospectus of 1.5p per Ordinary share for the 
quarters ending 30 June and 30 September 2004 and 2.25p per Ordinary share for 
the quarter ending 31 December 2004.
