CANCELLATION OF LISTING

Prudential PLC wishes to announce that it has applied to the Financial Services Authority, in its capacity as United Kingdom Listing Authority, to cancel the listing on the Official List of the United Kingdom Listing Authority of the following debt securities issued by it with effect from (and including) 5 January 2012:

€500,000,000 Subordinated Notes due December 2021 (Common Code: 014019758 & ISIN: XS0140197582) (the "Notes").

The application to cancel the listing of the Notes of Prudential PLC with effect from 5 January 2012 has been made as a result of the proposed redemption of the Notes in full on 19 December 2011.

Prudential plc is not affiliated in any manner with Prudential Financial, Inc. a company whose principal place of business is in the United States of America.
