RESPONSIBILITY OR CONNECTED PERSONS


The notification listed below was received under Paragraph 3.1.2 of the
Disclosure Rules.

QinetiQ Group plc (the 'Company') announces that it received notification on 15
December 2006 of the following grant of options to acquire ordinary shares of 1
penny each in the Company ('Ordinary Shares') under the rules of the QinetiQ
Group plc Share Option Scheme (the 'Scheme') at an exercise price of £1.88 per
share, namely, the following 'Person Discharging Managerial Responsibilities'
('PDMR') was granted options on 7 December 2006 to acquire Ordinary Shares under
the rules of the Scheme:

Options granted under the Scheme are normally exercisable during the period
commencing on the third anniversary of the date of grant and ending on the day
