Appointment of Non-Executive Director

Quintain Estates & Development plc today announces that Ros Kerslake has been appointed to the Board as an independent non-executive director with effect from 1 July 2013.

Ros is a qualified solicitor and has a number of years' experience working in the property sector, with a particular focus on regeneration.  She is currently Chief Executive of The Prince's Regeneration Trust, a charitable organisation which focuses on the rescue and reuse of historic buildings and sites.  Ros previously held the role of Chief Executive of RegenCo Sandwell, the Urban Regeneration Company responsible for the redevelopment of West Bromwich and the surrounding area.

She is currently Chair of the Regeneration Leaders Network and spent four years on the Board of Thurrock Urban Development Corporation.  Other roles she has held include Property Director at Network Rail, Director of Business Services at Gulf Oil and Head of Group Services at Booker Group Plc.

The Company confirms that there is no further information about Ms Kerslake requiring disclosure under paragraph 9.6.13 of the Listing Rules of the UK Listing Authority.

The Company also announces that Martin Meech, independent non-executive director, will step down from the Board at the Annual General Meeting on 22 July 2013.
