Quintain announces Board changes
The Board of Quintain announces that Adrian Wyatt, currently Deputy Chairman, is
to resume the role of Chief Executive with immediate effect. This follows the

July 2002 to pursue other property interests.
Nigel Ellis, the Chairman of Quintain, has confirmed that he will stay on in his
position.
The board of Quintain is delighted to announce simultaneously that it has
appointed John Plender to the Board as a Non-Executive Director and that he will
sit on the Company's Audit and Remuneration committees. He is a former member
of the London Stock Exchange's quality of markets advisory committee and a
former Chairman of Pensions and Investment Research Consultants (PIRC). He is
currently a journalist writing for the Financial Times in London, a member of
the advisory council of the Association of Corporate Treasurers, chairs the
advisory committee of the Centre for the Study of Financial Innovation, a London
based think-tank, and consults on corporate governance for the International
Finance Corporation, the private sector lending arm of the World Bank.
John Plender is a non-executive director of Thoros Systems Ltd. No further
details remain to be disclosed as required under chapter 16.4 of the FSA Listing
Rules.
Nigel Ellis commented:
'We believe that John Plender's unparalleled standing in the financial community
will be of enormous value to Quintain as we enter this exciting new phase in the
Company's history.'
The Board is also pleased to announce the appointment of Charlotte Eastwood as
Company Secretary. She joins from Eidos PLC where she was Company Secretary for
six years. In addition to being a Chartered Secretary, she is also a qualified
