The Hermes UK Focus Fund

On 2 March 2009 Hermes Investment Management Limited notified the Company (under the obligations imposed by Section DTR5 of the FSA's Disclosure & Transparency Rules) that, as at 27 February 2009, The Hermes UK Focus Fund ceased to have a notifiable interest in the voting rights attached to ordinary 13 8/9p shares of The Rank Group Plc ('Rank').
