                           Posting of Circular

Rank announces that it has today posted to its shareholders a circular regarding
the proposed disposal of Deluxe Film to DX III Holdings Corporation, a
subsidiary of MacAndrews & Forbes Holdings Inc., announced on 23 December 2005. 
The circular contains a notice convening an Extraordinary General Meeting of
shareholders  at 10.00am on Monday, 16 January 2006 at which approval for the
proposed disposal will be sought.

Copies of the circular have been submitted to the UK Listing Authority and will
shortly be available for inspection at the UK Listing Authority's Document
Viewing Facility, which is situated at The Financial Services Authority, 25 The
North Colonnade, Canary Wharf, London E14 5HS (telephone number 020 7676 1000),
during normal business hours on any weekday (public holidays excepted).
