On 15 October 2007, ordinary shares of 5p were acquired at £13.21 by Equiniti
Share Plan Trustees Limited, the trustees of The Rathbone Inland Revenue
Approved Employee Share Incentive Plan ('the Plan'). The purchase was in respect
of the reinvestment of dividends paid into the Plan. The registered holder is
Lloyds TSB Registrars Corporate Nominees Limited. A/c AESOP1. The following
directors and persons discharging managerial responsibility (PDMR) are
beneficial owners of the following shares (subject to the terms and conditions
of the Plan Trust Deed and Rules).
