Notification of a share option exercise and share sale by a director
On 26 July 2007, Sue Desborough, exercised options over 3,625 Rathbone Brothers
Plc Ordinary Shares of 5p. The options were granted on 24 April 2001 with an
exercise price of £8.275 under the Rathbone Brothers Plc Inland Revenue Approved
Executive Share Option Scheme.
The market value at exercise was £13.00 being the closing mid market price on 25
July 2007. The shares allotted were registered in the name of Rathbone Nominees
Limited.
Following this exercise, 3,625 shares were sold on 26 July 2007 at £13.50.
Following the option exercise and sale, her holding remains 8,648 shares,
representing 0.02% of the issued share capital of the company.
