Plan') and following satisfaction of applicable performance conditions, the
Trustees of the Plan, Kleinwort Benson (Guernsey) Trustees Limited today
transferred ordinary 10p shares to those directors set out below.  The number
of shares acquired is set against their name.

The shares were acquired at nil cost and have been retained by the directors.
