Trinity Mirror PLC 21 July 2004 21 July 2004 Trinity Mirror plc: Board change Trinity Mirror plc today announces that Stephen Parker will resign as a director on 26th July and leave the Company at the end of July by mutual agreement. He has been an Executive Director since January 1993 and is currently Managing Director of the Regional Newspaper Division. Sly Bailey, Chief Executive said: 'I would like to thank Stephen for his tremendous dedication, application and achievement in his time with the Company. He has been involved in leading the business over the last twenty years, as it has grown from being a small provincial publisher into the UK's largest newspaper publisher.' From overseeing the integration of the Scottish and Universal Newspaper's acquisition in the early nineties through the building of Trinity Mirror plc via acquisition and merger, it has been a challenging, exciting, demanding and personally very rewarding experience.'
