Stephen Davenport Parker today transferred 1225 shares into the name of his
wife, Carol Lesley Parker, who has subsequently sold all 1225 of the shares at
583p.

As a result of this transaction, Mr Parker's beneficial holding in Trinity
Mirror Plc has decreased from 8950 Ordinary shares of 10p, to 7725 Ordinary
Shares of 10p representing 0.003 per cent of the issued share capital.
