Board changes
Reece PLC ('the Company') announces the following Board
changes that took place on 20 October 2000.
Alexander Neil McArthur, aged 54, was appointed an
executive Director of the Company. Mr McArthur is the
Group Financial Controller of YJL plc that is the
beneficial owner of 29.9% of the issued share capital of
Reece PLC.
At the same time, Peter Knapton resigned as Non-executive
Chairman and as a Director of the Company in order to
concentrate on other business commitments.
Note:
There are no further details to be disclosed pursuant to
paragraph 16.4 of the Listing Rules. Mr McArthur is
currently the company secretary of YJL plc and is on the
board of many of YJL plc's subsidiaries.
