Change to Board of Directors

Subsequent to the successful offer by YJL plc for  Britannia
Group  plc  in April 2000, YJL plc has become the beneficial
owner  of 29.9% of the issued share capital of Reece.  Peter
Gyllenhammar,  the  deputy  chairman  of  YJL,  accepted  an
invitation  to  join the Board of Reece as  a  non-executive
director  with  effect from 23 June 2000. On the  same  date
Steve Smith decided to resign from the Board of Reece as  he
will be leaving YJL at the end of August.
