RED ROCK RESOURCES PLC
Exploration Update
Dated: 11 August 2006
Red Rock Resources plc ('Red Rock' or the 'Company') the mineral exploration and
development company focused on advancing iron ore, uranium and manganese
projects in Australia and East Africa, reports that drilling is to commence at
the Company's iron ore license at Mt Hope in the Central Yilgarn of Western
Australia. Mt Hope and the larger Mt Ida license are subject to an option and
royalty agreement with Jupiter Mines Ltd (ASX:JMS).
Magnetics show a 3km plus long zone that is over 800m wide and Jupiter
geologists believe there is potential for high grade hematite iron
mineralization. They report that there is outcropping iron enriched Banded Iron
Formation mineralization at surface, although some is partially sand covered.
The Mt Hope prospect has never been drilled, and the Company has been advised
that drilling is planned on a 200m line spacing to test for high grade
haematite.
