On 3 July 2001, the Trust for the Company's Long Term Share Incentive Plan,
namely Abacus Trust Company (Isle of Man), purchased 363,166 ordinary shares
of 10p each in Redrow plc on 3 July 2001 at a price of 219.0p.
In addition, Redrow plc announces that on 3 July 2001, the Company has been
notified of the following changes in the interests of directors in the
ordinary shares of 10p each in Redrow plc.
On 29 June 2001, options over the following number of ordinary shares of 10p
each in Redrow plc were issued under the Company's Long Term Share Incentive
Plan.

On 2 July 2001, following the final award under the 1995/96 Long Term Share
Incentive Plan and third award under the 1997/98 Long Term Share Incentive
Plan, Mr P.L. Pedley exercised options over 91,705 ordinary shares of 10p each
in Redrow plc and on 3 July 2001 sold 91,705 ordinary shares of 10p each in
Redrow plc at a price of 219.0p.
On 2 July 2001, following the fourth award under the 1996/97 Long Term Share
Incentive Plan and third award under the 1997/98 Long Term Share Incentive
Plan, Mr B.K. Harvey exercised options over 32,235 ordinary shares of 10p each
in Redrow plc and on 3 July 2001 sold 32,235 ordinary shares of 10p each in
Redrow plc at a price of 219.0p.
On 3 July 2001, Mr G.H. Locke sold 20,000 ordinary shares of 10p each in
Redrow plc at a price of 219.0p.
