DIRECTORS' SHAREHOLDINGS

On 25 June 2004 the following Directors of Redrow plc (the 'Company') exercised
options to purchase ordinary shares in the Company at a price of 170p per share.
These options are part of a wider three year incentive scheme for Redrow's
senior executive management which were granted by Stephen Morgan, founder of the
Company, over his own beneficial holding in the Company on 25 June 2001.

As a result of the exercise:

Paul Pedley purchased 250,000 ordinary shares increasing his beneficial holding
in the Company to 875,000 ordinary shares.

Neil Fitzsimmons and Barry Harvey purchased 50,000 ordinary shares each
increasing their beneficial holdings in the Company to 122,173 and 59,783
ordinary shares respectively.

Colin Lewis purchased 30,000 ordinary shares increasing his beneficial holding
in the Company to 46,803 ordinary shares.
