Redrow PLC
16 March 2007
Redrow plc
It is with much regret that Redrow is announcing that Robert Jones has advised
the Board he will be resigning as Chairman with effect from 30 March 2007.
Robert has been battling against ill-health over the last few years and until
very recently he had expected to be able to continue in his role for some time.
However, his condition has recently deteriorated very rapidly to such a degree
that he considers he can no longer continue to serve on the Board.
Robert has served Redrow as a Non Executive Director for nearly 10 years and as
Chairman since October 2000. The Board very much appreciates his contribution
to the Company in both roles and obviously at this time our thoughts are with
Robert, his wife and family.
With effect from 30 March 2007 Jim Martin, currently Senior Non Executive
Director, will become Interim Chairman until a new Chairman is appointed and
Brian Duckworth will take the position of Senior Independent Non Executive
Director.
