Redrow Group plc hereby announces that on 20th March 2000 they were informed
by G H Locke that he had today sold 5,850 Ordinary Shares in his name and
5,125 shares in the name of his wife Claire Locke at a price of 1.63 per share
in order to utilise the capital gains tax allowance for the tax year up to
April 2000.
