Renold announces that on 19 January 2009, its Group Chief Executive, Bob Davies, purchased fifty thousand (50,000) ordinary shares of 25p each in the Company (“Ordinary Shares”) at a price of 23.5p pence per share.

Following this share purchase his beneficial interest, including the beneficial holdings of his connected persons, is as follows:
