Renold PLC
1 August 2001
The Board of Renold plc, the international power transmission and precision
technology Group, announced in March 2001 that the businesses of Holroyd,
Jones & Shipman and Edgetek had been integrated to form Renold Precision
Technologies. As part of the strategic development of the Group, Renold
Precision Technologies will, in future, report directly to Ian Trotter, Group
Chief Executive, who was appointed on 1 May, 2001.
As a result, Ronnie Kershaw has relinquished his position as a Director of
Renold plc as from 31 July, 2001. The Board thanks him for his considerable
contribution over the last 39 years, particularly in the development of the
Holroyd Machine Tool and Rotor business. His expertise and knowledge will
continue to be available to the Group on a consultancy basis over the next two
years.
