Rentokil Initial PLC 18 December 2006 18 December 2006 RENTOKIL INITIAL CREATES PEST CONTROL LEADERSHIP POSITION IN AUSTRALIA Rentokil Initial plc (RTO), one of the world's leading providers of business support services, today announces that it has reached agreement with Campbell Brothers Limited (ASX: CPB) to acquire its pest control business in Australia for a total consideration of A$48 million (£19.2m*) in cash. For the year to 31 March 2006, Campbell Brothers' pest control business had annual revenues of A$32.5 million (£13m*). The deal is expected to complete in early 2007. The pest control services of Campbell Brothers are available nationwide across Australia.
