Reliance Security Group plc ('Reliance')
'Preferred Partner' to Health and Safety Executive
The Directors of Reliance Security Group plc are pleased to announce that a
consortium comprising Reliance Integrated Services Limited ('RIS'), a wholly
owned operating company, Kajima and Honeywell has been selected as preferred
partner by the Health and Safety Executive to provide a fully serviced
headquarters building for the HSE under a 30 year PFI contract.
The services to be provided by RIS include facility management, help desk,
security, access control and reception, grounds maintenance, porter services,
catering and cleaning. It is estimated that the contract will generate
approximately £1.2 million of turnover for RIS in a full year. Financial close
is expected in April 2003 and RIS expects to commence delivery of services in
April 2005, following completion of construction.
Brian Kingham, Chairman, commenting on the award of preferred partner status,
said:
'We are delighted that the consortium has been selected by the Health and Safety
Executive to undertake this important project. We believe that RIS's innovative
approach to the delivery of a wide range of facilities management services was
an important factor in the selection of the consortium.'
